Tahun ini pelamar Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil (CPNS) hanya dapat mendaftar di satu instansi saja dan seluruhnya dilakukan secara elektronik melalui website pendaftaran http://panselnas.menpan.co.id.
Terkait hal tersebut, Kepala Biro Hukum dan Informasi Komunikasi Publik Kemen PAN-RB Herman Suryatman mengimbau agar para pelamar tidak berupaya melakukan kecurangan dengan mengakali sistem pendaftaran agar dapat melakukan pendaftaran di lebih dari satu instansi.
Ancaman bagi pelamar yang melakukan pendaftaran lebih dari satu instansi adalah pembatalan kelulusannya.
"Kalau ada yang mencoba menyiasati dengan berbagai cara dan ketahuan, maka akan dibatalkan kelulusannya," tegas Herman.
Pernyataan Herman ini sekaligus merespons adanya peluang kecurangan yang mungkin dilakukan oleh pihak tidak bertanggung jawab yang memanfaatkan celah pada teknologi yang digunakan untuk pendaftaran CPNS tahun ini.
"Memang secara elektronik meminimalisir kecurangan. Tetapi ada saja pakar IT yang mencoba menyiasati mengakali sistem. Ada orang cari celah, apa lagi yang menguasai IT, yang bisa menyiasati aplikasi pendaftaran ini," tanadasnya.

Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Sumatera Utara (Sumut) membuka lowongan penerimaan Calon Pegawai Negeri Sipil (CPNS) formasi tahun 2013 sebanyak 329 orang. Selain itu ada 14 kabupaten dan kota yang membuka penerimaan sebanyak 1.354 CPNS, sehingga tersedia 1.683 formasi.
Kepala Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sumut Pandapotan Siregar menyatakan dalam penerimaan CPNS Pemprov Sumut formasi tahun 2013 ini, terdiri dari guru SLB, dokter spesialis, tenaga teknis dan pelatih olahraga. Sementara pemerintah kabupaten dan kota yang lain beragam formasinya.
Dalam penerimaan ini, Pemprov Sumut mengikuti sistem yang ditetapkan pusat. Penerimaan akan lebih transparan dan akuntabel karena soal dibuat konsorsium 15 perguruan tinggi negeri se-Indonesia. Untuk menjamin fairnya ujian, pemeriksaan Lembar Jawaban Komputer (LJK) dilakukan melalui Kementerian Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara Reformasi Birokrasi.
"Gubernur Sumatera Utara mendukung sepenuhnya sistem yang diterapkan pusat dalam tahapan penerimaan CPNS dengan harapan diperoleh PNS yang berkompeten dan berkualitas," ujar Pandapotan di Medan, Kamis (19/9/2013).
Selain melaksanakan seleksi bagi pendaftar umum, Pemprov Sumut akan menggelar seleksi bagi pegawai honorer kategori 2 (K2) sebanyak 20 orang. Pegawai honor kategori II ini adalah honorer yang masuk database minimal tahun 2005 yang penggajiannya di luar APBD.
